Yes, I miss the family... but thankfully I've got so little time to think, as I'm chasing stories (that are flying at me), and meeting such remarkable people. Sadly, so many people hear are stunned and grateful that there's someone here who cares about them enough to want to tell their stories that people have been remarkably open and have connected me to one person after another.
Douglas- I’m surprised, amazed and so proud of your efforts in Israel! Your first “dispatch” hooked me since these are all issues close to my heart. I can’t wait to read and see more stories, especially in context of the humanity of this awful war.
